Maui Family Photographers-Morning Beach Session

One of the most frequently asked questions we get is, "When is the best time to book our Maui Photography session?"
The best times are in the early morning or 1-2 hours before sunset. Our favorite time as your Maui family photographer is in the morning. When the sun is out, the ocean water is turquoise. You can't beat that gorgeous tropical background with blue skies. If you have young children, we highly recommend a morning session. They are fresh and ready for us to capture those beautiful moments. If you wait until sunset, young children are tired & often it's challenging to get them to cooperate. It's a world of a difference in the morning! Even if you don't have children, our couples, & wedding clients also love the morning look. We need to start early for a few different reasons. The later it gets, the harsher the light becomes. We want a soft light on your face and avoid harsh shadows. Those with sensitive eyes appreciate an early start too. It does get warm fast so again, the earlier the better to start. Also remember your gaining 2-6 hours depending on where your coming from. You will love that! You'll feel like your sleeping in but look at the Maui time & its early.

See below for an example of a beautiful morning session. Be prepared to fall in love! This particular morning there were lots of clouds, which made for a perfect portrait session. Clouds act as a natural softbox for the sun, which means that the light from the sun is evenly dispersed.
